General Conference

Every year it is a struggle to keep the kids interested in the talks that are given during General Conference. Now that some of our kids are a little bit older, it isn’t so much a challenge of giving them something to do while listening. However, it is always nice to give the younger kids something to work on while we are watching. Every year, I watch for the “Conference Worksheets” that are put out by “The Friend“.

The little notebook that they put together give our Primary age kids a chance to do some coloring, matching, searching, and writing. All of the subjects, pages, and pictures are related to general conference and encourage them to listen and complete more pages. I know that they don’t listen to everything, but it keeps them engaged in the information being taught by the leaders of the Mormon Church.

Ok, so the worksheet I linked to above wasn’t very fun.  This is actually the one I was thinking of  “General Conference Primary Activity Packet”.  It is really Great for kids.  I hope you use it because they will be listening and staying busy all at the same time.
